Acquire (subtitled "High Adventure in the World of High Finance") is an adaptation of a board game of the same name originally released in 1964. This unofficial version allows you to play a text mode approximation with up to six friends taking turns and/or computer opponents. I am not familiar with the board game, but it looks like this program does a decent job of providing an experience similar to the original. If you're interested in playing it but don't want to fork out the dough to buy the actual game, this could serve as an okay replacement.
